Our client currently seeks an Inland Marine Underwriting Assistant to join their organization in one of the following locations: Scottsdale, AZ; Chicago, IL; Alpharetta, GA; Chapel Hill, NC; or Hartford, CT. The Inland Marine Underwriting Assistant is responsible for many technical and administrative tasks that facilitate the underwriting process.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Assisting in underwriting and policy administration. Gathering information and data from producers (i.e., agents and brokers) and other appropriate sources. Booking and issuing new and renewal insurance policies, endorsements and forms. Reviewing quotes, binders, policies, endorsements and other documents for accuracy and consistency. Following up with producers to obtain missing information required for the underwriting process.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 3+ years of UA experience required. Previous experience in inland marine coverages. Proficiency in computer applications (e.g., Excel, Word, SharePoint) and an ability to learn proprietary systems.

COMPENSATION $70,000 to $80,000 Competitive compensation and benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), flexible spending, short-term and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, long-term care, paid parental leave, vacation and other paid time off.
