Review and prepare monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements. Oversee preparation of quarterly and annual statutory statements (Blue Books), schedules, and exhibits in compliance with SAP. Partner with auditors, state examiners, and senior management during audits and regulatory exams. Coordinate submission of statutory filings, premium tax returns, state pages. Assist with GAAP and STAT audits, cash management, and reinsurance accounting activities. Support implementation of new regulatory requirements, and reinsurance partners. Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members while driving process improvements and efficiencies.

7+ years of recent insurance financial accounting and statutory reporting experience. Strong knowledge of US statutory accounting principles, regulatory reporting, and GAAP. Life insurance company accounting experience required. Leadership experience managing, training, and developing accounting teams.

$110,000 + $3-5k bonus, competitive benefits
