Seeking an Assistant Controller to join client’s finance team and support CFO. Lead day-to-day accounting operations (A/P, A/R, general ledger, payroll). Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across three business units. Support budget development and financial forecasting. Ensure compliance with GAAP and Statutory accounting rules. Partner with auditors and maintain strong internal controls. Manage cash flow, short-term investments, and banking relationships. Compile policy and claim data to support reinsurance placements. Mentor and guide a team of accountants.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred). Minimum 3 years of related accounting/finance experience. Direct experience with GAAP and Statutory Accounting. Strong technical skills (Excel and accounting systems). Leadership experience and ability to mentor others.
