We are working with a well-established P&C insurance organization seeking an experienced Associate Actuary to support commercial lines pricing, profitability, reserving, and strategic business initiatives. This is a highly visible individual contributor role with significant independence and direct interaction with actuarial leadership and business partners across Product, Underwriting, Claims, and Finance.

Lead actuarial projects involving commercial lines pricing, profitability, and loss reserving. Conduct rate indications, quarterly reserve reviews, product profitability studies, and strategic analyses. Analyze portfolio performance, identify key drivers, and develop recommendations around profitability, growth, and retention. Develop pricing strategies and recommendations that support underwriting profitability and business objectives. Work directly with Product, Underwriting, Claims, Finance, IT, and implementation teams. Translate actuarial findings into clear business recommendations for leadership. Provide technical direction and coaching to actuarial analysts supporting your projects. Help ensure pricing changes are accurately implemented within rating systems and business processes. Research commercial insurance market trends, competitive developments, and product opportunities.

ACAS required plus 5+ years of actuarial experience. Commercial lines pricing and/or reserving experience. Advanced analytical, mathematical, and statistical capabilities. Experience working with large datasets and translating analysis into business decisions. Strong understanding of insurance products, rating methodologies, profitability, and reserving. Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to business leaders. Commercial Auto, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Property, General Liability, BOP/CPP, Umbrella, or similar commercial lines experience is preferred.

$135,000 to $145,000. Robust employee benefits.
