About the role:
We are working with an established P&C insurance organization seeking a Business Architect to help translate corporate strategy into practical, scalable business solutions. This is an opportunity to sit at the intersection of business strategy, operations, technology, and transformation—working with leaders across the organization to understand how the business operates today and help design how it needs to operate tomorrow.
Duties and responsibilities:
Develop and maintain business architecture frameworks, models, principles, and standards.
Connect strategic priorities to operational execution.
Analyze and optimize business processes using BPMN and process-mapping methodologies.
Develop business capability models and architectural solutions.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, scalability, efficiency, and innovation.
Partner with business and technology leaders to align operational needs with technology solutions.
Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate business model effectiveness.
Lead adoption of new business architectures and support organizational change.
Identify business and operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Facilitate collaboration across multiple functions and organizational levels.
Help translate complex strategic objectives into clear, actionable business models and frameworks.
Experience:
5–7+ years of P&C insurance industry experience.
5+ years in business planning, process analysis, business architecture, or enterprise architecture.
Strong understanding of P&C insurance products, customers, and business processes.
Experience with business architecture frameworks and architectural documentation.
Expertise in process mapping and business process reengineering.
Understanding of software development and project management lifecycles.
Strong strategic, conceptual, and analytical thinking.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and complex organizational environments.
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Science, or related field.
Preferred: TOGAF, CBA, PCBA, or other relevant professional certification.
Compensation:
$105,000 to $118,000 $Robust employee benefits.
