About the role:
We are partnering with a fast-growing, innovative Property & Casualty insurance organization that is looking to add a Cash Manager to its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys being close to the numbers, solving problems, improving processes, and having a direct impact on an organization’s financial discipline and liquidity strategy.
Duties and responsibilities:
Manage daily cash balances, cash activity, and liquidity requirements. Develop and improve short- and long-term cash flow forecasts. Prepare cash reporting, variance analysis, and liquidity updates for leadership. Manage banking relationships, bank accounts, online banking access, documentation, and fees. Oversee wires, ACH payments, deposits, and other cash transactions within established controls. Partner with Accounting on payment timing, collections visibility, reconciliations, and working capital. Strengthen cash management procedures, internal controls, and segregation of duties. Identify control gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve cash operations.
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. 5+ years of experience in cash management, treasury, accounting, or a related finance function. Strong knowledge of cash forecasting, liquidity management, banking operations, payments, and internal controls. Advanced Excel skills, including modeling, analysis, reconciliations, and reporting. Experience with ERP, banking, or treasury management systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Experience within Property & Casualty insurance, reinsurance, or financial services would be highly valuable.
Compensation:
$110,000 to $140,000, bonus, Comprehensive benefits package. Hybrid work environment. Significant opportunity for advancement as the organization grows.
