About the role:
We are partnering with a respected organization in the captive insurance space seeking a Claims Services Manager to support a portfolio of captive programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a casualty claims expert with strong relationship skills who enjoys a mix of consulting, problem solving, and operational oversight.
Duties and responsibilities:
Monitor and provide oversight on large, complex, or sensitive claims. Serve as the primary liaison between captive members, brokers, and claims administrators. Partner with captive members to reduce reserves, control claim costs, and improve outcomes. Analyze claims data to identify trends, performance opportunities, and service improvements. Coordinate and lead claims review meetings with captive clients. Collaborate with Risk Control teams to develop educational workshops for captive members. Create and deliver claims reporting and insights for clients and leadership. Lead new captive member onboarding to ensure understanding of claims processes. Evaluate client service requirements and ensure TPA performance and compliance.
Experience:
7+ years of casualty claims experience, including claims handling or claims consulting. Construction claims experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Strong understanding of claims processes, reserving, and claims administration. Experience working with clients, brokers, and TPAs. Ability to analyze claims data and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Strong communication and presentation skills.
Compensation:
$90,000 to $115,000, hybrid, competitive benefits
