Duties and responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Personal Auto Claims professionals. Provide technical guidance on coverage analysis, claim strategy, investigations, reserving, negotiations, and claim resolution. Review claim files to ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Assist with complex, high-exposure, and sensitive claims. Coach team members through performance feedback, training, and career development. Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality service and cost-effective claim outcomes. Participate in hiring, onboarding, succession planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. Help drive operational excellence while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Experience:
Leadership experience managing Auto Claims professionals. Strong technical knowledge of Personal Auto claims handling, coverage analysis, liability investigations, injury claims, and reserving. Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Strong organizational and decision-making abilities. Experience handling or overseeing bodily injury claims is highly desirable. Professional claims designation (or progress toward one) is a plus.
Compensation:
$100,000 to $130,000. 401k, Pension Plan, Competitive benefits
