About the role:
We’re partnering with a well-established insurance organization seeking a Property & Casualty Client Manager II to join its team. This is an opportunity for a seasoned client management professional to take meaningful ownership of an assigned book of business while partnering with Risk Advisors, Senior Client Managers, carriers, underwriters, and internal specialists.
Duties and responsibilities:
Manage client service needs throughout the policy year, including binders, certificates, endorsements, audits, claims, cancellations, policy checks, invoicing, auto ID cards, and other policy documentation. Take ownership of new business and renewal processes. Review risk management surveys, identify potential exposures, and help clients understand appropriate coverage solutions. Develop marketing strategies and prepare submissions for new and renewal business. Prepare proposals and negotiate coverage terms and pricing with carriers and underwriters. Work directly with underwriters to obtain additional information and move accounts forward. Partner with Risk Control on complex or significant risk control and claims issues. Conduct contract and lease reviews and identify potential risk and compliance concerns. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers. Help explain payment requirements and other insurance-related matters to clients. Provide technical guidance, training, and support to other client service team members.
Experience:
5+ years of P&C client management experience. Current California Property & Casualty insurance license. Strong understanding of commercial insurance servicing and account management. Experience managing new business and renewal processes. Ability to work with carriers, underwriters, clients, and internal specialists. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Industry designations are valued. Strong PC/application skills. A proactive, accountable professional who takes ownership and delivers exceptional client service.
Compensation:
$115,000 to $145,000
