About the role:
We are partnering with a highly respected insurance organization that specializes in innovative health benefit captive programs for employer groups and brokers. We seek a Health Benefits Account Manager for a role as Health Captive Program Manager. In this role, you will serve as a key technical and operational leader responsible for the day-to-day management and long-term success of captive programs. You will work closely with brokers, captive members, carriers, and internal teams, ensuring accurate financial reporting, claims oversight, renewal coordination, and a high-touch client experience.
Duties and responsibilities:
Lead the creation and management of monthly and annual captive financial reporting. Oversee monthly claims reporting and reconciliation with carriers. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data, reporting, and analytics. Support underwriting and renewal strategy through data preparation and analysis. Manage captive renewal timelines, proposal preparation, and coordination with carriers Coordinate onboarding for new captive members. Serve as a key contact for brokers, captive members, and service partners. Deliver presentations and updates to captive participants and small groups. Support communication initiatives including program updates and distribution campaigns. Partner with internal teams and vendors to resolve operational issues.
Experience:
7+ years of experience in Health Insurance Benefits (carrier or broker environment strongly preferred). Background in account management, program management, underwriting, or operations. Experience working with health benefit captives or complex benefit programs. Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles. Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable presenting to small groups and facilitating discussions.
Compensation:
$90,000 to $100,000, hybrid, competitive benefits
