In this role, you will evaluate complex medical cases and collaborate closely with advisors, carrier underwriters, and internal teams to develop customized underwriting solutions for large, high-value life insurance policies. This organization is widely recognized as a leader in premium financing and advanced life insurance strategies, helping financial advisors and affluent clients maximize the performance of life insurance assets within their broader financial portfolios.

Review medical records, histories, and lifestyle factors to accurately evaluate risk. Provide thoughtful medical analysis aligned with underwriting guidelines and risk appetite. Assess complex, high-value cases involving affluent clients and sophisticated financial structures. Develop tailored underwriting strategies to support optimal case placement. Partner with financial advisors to discuss underwriting outcomes and potential solutions. Coordinate closely with carrier medical underwriters to move cases forward efficiently. Make informed underwriting assessments supported by strong medical and risk analysis. Escalate complex cases when appropriate while providing well-reasoned recommendations.

5+ years of medical underwriting experience. Demonstrated experience handling high-net-worth or complex large-face-value cases. Strong understanding of medical terminology, conditions, and risk factors. Experience evaluating new business life insurance applications. Ability to analyze complex medical and financial information with sound judgment. Strong analytical and risk evaluation skills. Ability to explain complex underwriting decisions to advisors, clients, and internal stakeholders. Knowledge of life insurance underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.

$80,000 to $90,000 + bonus
