Insurance Recruiting Solutions is a specialized insurance search firm founded by an industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience spanning both the insurance industry and insurance recruiting profession. Since launching in September 2024, the firm has experienced rapid growth by focusing on relationship-driven recruiting, deep industry knowledge, responsiveness, and long-term partnerships across the insurance marketplace. We partner with insurance carriers, brokerages, MGAs, insurtech organizations, TPAs, and related service providers nationwide on critical hires across underwriting, claims, actuarial, finance/accounting, product, compliance, operations, sales, marketing, legal, IT, executive leadership, and more. Due to continued growth and increasing client demand, we are seeking an Insurance Recruiter / Executive Search Consultant to join our team. This is an opportunity for a motivated, relationship-oriented recruiting professional who wants to build a long-term career within a highly specialized and growing niche. The role will support both recruiting delivery and business development activities across the insurance industry. The ideal individual is proactive, organized, highly communicative, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This person will assist with sourcing, recruiting, networking, candidate management, and search execution while also helping identify and develop new client relationships when opportunities arise. This is not a “transactional recruiting” environment. Relationship building, industry credibility, professionalism, and long-term trust are central to how we operate.
Duties and responsibilities:
Recruiting & Search Execution · Source, identify, and engage insurance professionals across multiple functional disciplines and lines of coverage. · Conduct candidate outreach through LinkedIn, networking, referrals, database searches, job boards, and direct recruiting methods. · Screen and qualify candidates regarding technical background, career motivations, compensation expectations, and cultural fit. · Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication throughout the recruiting process. · Build and maintain pipelines of passive insurance talent nationwide. · Assist in drafting candidate presentations, job postings, recruiting campaigns, and market messaging. · Support executive search assignments from intake through placement. · Maintain accurate documentation and activity tracking within recruiting systems and databases. Business Development & Client Support · Assist with identifying prospective insurance organizations and hiring leaders. · Support outreach initiatives to carriers, brokerages, MGAs, insurtech firms, TPAs, and related organizations. · Help develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, LinkedIn engagement, and industry conversations. · Participate in client intake discussions and strategy meetings when appropriate. · Build long-term professional relationships with insurance executives, HR leaders, and hiring managers. · Promote the firm’s brand through professionalism, responsiveness, and industry knowledge. Market Intelligence & Industry Networking · Stay informed on insurance industry hiring trends, market movement, compensation trends, and organizational changes. · Build credibility within the insurance marketplace through networking and relationship development. · Contribute ideas regarding recruiting strategy, sourcing methods, social media engagement, and business growth initiatives.
Experience:
Required Background & Experience · Prior recruiting, staffing, insurance, sales, or business development experience preferred. · Insurance industry knowledge or exposure strongly preferred. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Comfortable speaking with senior-level professionals and executives. · Ability to manage multiple priorities and searches simultaneously. · Strong organizational skills and follow-through. · Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. · High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality. · Comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial and growth-oriented environment. Preferred Experience · Insurance recruiting experience. · Experience working within a staffing/search firm environment. · Background in insurance underwriting, claims, brokerage, operations, or related functions. · LinkedIn Recruiter or candidate sourcing experience. · Business development or sales experience.
