A rapidly growing, innovation-driven Property & Casualty insurance organization is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to build and lead its internal audit function from the ground up. Design and implement a risk-based internal audit framework, including audit methodology and annual planning. Establish audit processes, controls, and reporting standards. Lead audits across key insurance functions including underwriting, claims, billing, reinsurance, and third-party relationships. Evaluate internal controls over financial reporting, including statutory and GAAP frameworks. Identify control gaps, operational risks, and process improvement opportunities. Deliver clear, actionable audit findings and recommendations to leadership. Track remediation efforts and report on trends and recurring issues. Support regulatory exams and coordinate with external auditors. Promote a strong culture of accountability, compliance, and risk awareness.

8+ years of experience in internal audit, external audit, risk, or accounting. Strong background within Property & Casualty insurance (required). Experience with reinsurance structures, delegated authority, or complex insurance programs. Deep understanding of internal controls, financial reporting, and regulatory environments. Proven ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, evolving organization. CPA, CIA, or similar designation preferred.
