About the role:
This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible role with a growing insurance organization operating across both U.S. and international markets, where operational excellence directly supports business growth and regulatory confidence. As Operations Officer, you will oversee end-to-end operational functions across life insurance markets, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance while helping modernize processes and scale the organization. You’ll serve as a key operational leader, trusted by executive management and relied upon for sound judgment in a regulated, multi-jurisdictional environment.
Duties and responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations across policy issuance, administration, premium processing, and claims. Ensure consistent, accurate, and timely execution of operational workflows across domestic and international business units. Establish and enforce operational controls, service standards, and performance metrics. Design, document, and continuously improve operational procedures aligned with regulatory and international standards. Identify operational risks and implement controls to support audits and regulatory reviews. Manage relationships with international administrators, brokers, and reinsurers to ensure contractual compliance and service quality. Support risk management initiatives and regulatory reporting requirements. Partner closely with Finance, Reinsurance, Underwriting, and Marketing to support product launches, reporting accuracy, and data integrity.
Experience:
7–10+ years of experience in life insurance operations or administration. Strong understanding of life insurance products, policy administration systems, and regulatory frameworks. Experience supporting international or cross-border insurance operations is highly valued. Demonstrated success leading teams, managing projects, and improving operational performance. Comfortable navigating evolving regulatory environments and complex workflows. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field (advanced degree preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with policy administration and reinsurance platforms is a plus.
Compensation:
$105,000 to $120,000, competitive benefits including 100% employer paid health, dental & vision insurance for employee
