We are seeking a Senior Applied AI & Data Scientist to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions across a mission-driven financial services organization. This role combines advanced analytics, machine learning, and Generative AI to create scalable solutions that support business decision-making across insurance, investments, membership, and operations.

Develop and deploy AI, machine learning, and Generative AI solutions from concept through production. Build LLM-powered solutions utilizing RAG, embeddings, vector search, and agentic AI workflows. Develop predictive models and advanced analytics supporting business, risk, claims, and investment decisions. Partner with engineering teams to productionize models, pipelines, APIs, and AI applications. Design evaluation strategies to measure model quality, performance, safety, and business impact. Apply responsible AI practices including governance, documentation, and model monitoring. Create reusable AI/ML standards, frameworks, and best practices across the organization. Communicate technical insights and recommendations to business and technology stakeholders.

6+ years of experience delivering advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions. 2+ years of experience building enterprise GenAI/LLM solutions (RAG, agents, evaluation). Strong Python and SQL skills with experience using ML libraries such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. Experience with Snowflake (Snowpark/Cortex), PostgreSQL, and modern data platforms. Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and knowledge retrieval solutions. Experience partnering with engineering teams on APIs, CI/CD, monitoring, and production deployments. Financial services, insurance, or regulated industry experience preferred. Experience with MLflow, Docker, FastAPI, Talend, or cloud modernization preferred.
