Are you the go-to person when technology just won’t cooperate? A leading insurance organization is seeking a Senior Help Desk Technician to deliver top-notch technical support and keep daily operations running smoothly. This role is your chance to be on the front lines of IT support—resolving issues, guiding end-users, and ensuring that the tools and technology behind the business stay reliable, secure, and effective. In this role, you’ll support a wide range of technologies—from desktops and virtual environments to mobile devices, video conferencing, and Cisco Unified Communications—while helping employees get back to business quickly and confidently. You’ll also partner closely with infrastructure and IT leadership to optimize systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and stay ahead of evolving technology needs.
Duties and responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for IT support, handling calls, tickets, and alerts with speed, professionalism, and care.
Diagnose, resolve, and document hardware, software, network, and telecom issues.
Provide deskside and remote support, including software installs, system upgrades, and hardware setups.
Collaborate with the infrastructure team on maintenance, upgrades, and vendor coordination.
Stay current on emerging technologies to continually strengthen support capabilities.
Experience:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of enterprise-level help desk or technical support experience.
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, group policy, VOIP, networking, and VMware.
Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Intune, Adobe Acrobat, and mobile devices.
Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software, configure workstations, and manage peripheral devices.
Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, MCP, or CCNA.
Compensation:
