Duties and responsibilities:
Build and grow a profitable Management Liability portfolio across the wholesale channel.
Engage proactively with brokers to drive submissions, win deals, and strengthen long-term relationships.
Lead a consultative underwriting and sales process, understanding broker workflows, priorities, and book composition.
Navigate complex underwriting challenges with creativity, speed, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Stay ahead of industry trends and guide brokers on emerging exposures, market shifts, and competitive positioning.
Tailor approaches for each broker to maximize market adoption and expand account opportunities.
Experience:
6+ years of Management Liability underwriting experience (D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime).
A proven record of exceeding premium growth and profitability goals.
Strong competitive instincts and a “find a way to win” mentality.
Ability to creatively underwrite complex risks and structure deals that make sense—financially and strategically.
Demonstrated success building deep, consultative relationships with wholesale brokers.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable from start to finish.
Integrity, grit, and enthusiasm for helping build a best-in-class underwriting organization.
Confidence to push for better solutions and challenge outdated processes when logic demands it.
Compensation:
