We are conducting a search for a Senior Project Manager (Contractor) to support a highly respected, mission-driven financial services organization with deep roots in insurance, investment, and member-focused products. This is an opportunity for a seasoned Project Manager who enjoys navigating complexity, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering high-visibility initiatives—while contributing to an organization whose work genuinely serves others. This role is hybrid and requires local presence in the New Haven, CT area.

Own end-to-end delivery of multiple complex, high-risk projects with significant business impact. Select and adapt project management methodologies based on project context. Drive project planning, execution, change control, risk management, and quality assurance. Align project objectives with enterprise strategy and ensure stakeholder clarity. Manage budgets, resources, vendors, and third-party partners. Lead Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming). Coach teams to improve Agile maturity, velocity, and accountability. Partner with Product Owners to shape product vision and roadmaps. Communicate project health clearly through executive-ready reporting. Support RFPs, SOWs, and vendor selection when required.

Senior-level Project Manager with experience leading multiple concurrent, complex initiatives. Strong command of Agile and traditional project delivery models. Proven ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and diverse stakeholders. Experience working closely with IT, product, and business leadership. Comfortable facilitating tough conversations, resolving conflict, and driving accountability.

Pay rate: $68 to $72 per hour
