Duties and responsibilities:
In this senior-level role, you will take ownership of both ceded and assumed reinsurance accounting. Managing complex manual reinsurance settlement accounting. Leading responsibilities tied to Schedule F. Issuing letters of credit and monitoring aging collections. Coordinating reinsurance accounting findings, updates, and issues with internal stakeholders. Overseeing Quota Share and Excess of Loss treaty accounting. Assisting in automation of reinsurance calculations and reporting (currently ~66% manual) Managing A/P related to reinsurance. Researching account discrepancies. Playing a key role in the transition from manual processes to Duck Creek Technologies
Experience:
~5+ years of reinsurance accounting experience with a carrier, reinsurer, or broker (Required). Strong understanding of the mechanics of reinsurance treaties. Technical aptitude and comfort working under deadlines. Experience with Yellow Book reporting (cover to cover) is a major plus. Familiarity with Duck Creek Technologies is highly desired.
Compensation:
$110,000 to $115,000. Bonus. Competitive benefits.
