Base salary: $150,000 to $200,000 + incentives all-in $400k+
About the role:
A financially strong, rapidly expanding insurance platform with deep roots in both property & casualty and life & health markets is seeking a dynamic executive to take ownership of its Life & Health vertical and lead its fast-growing Field Marketing Organization (FMO). This newly created position offers a rare opportunity to build and scale an FMO operation that already has a strong foundation—over 600 contracted agents, 100,000+ lives enrolled, and a highly recognized brand presence. Reporting directly to the C-suite, you will have full P&L responsibility for a business segment delivering ~$10M in EBITDA, with significant upside in Florida, Texas, and beyond.
Duties and responsibilities:
Step into a platform already producing $130M+ in annual premium with strong expansion plans. You’ll have the freedom and resources to set the vision and execute a multi-year growth strategy. Benefit from a large retail and franchise footprint, an in-house call center, and existing carrier partnerships. Lead and expand a team, build the FMO’s life & health operations, and drive strategic carrier and agent relationships. Create and execute a 3–5 year growth plan for the FMO’s life & health vertical. Manage and expand relationships with top national carriers, securing distribution agreements and product access. Lead agent recruitment, onboarding, and development strategies across multiple states. Build agent productivity programs, marketing campaigns, and training resources to drive results. Oversee multi-state expansion with a primary focus on Florida and Texas.
Experience:
Proven leadership in an FMO, IMO, or national insurance carrier environment. Track record of multi-state field sales leadership, P&L management, and carrier contracting. Expertise in Medicare Advantage, ACA, and Life insurance distribution. Strong executive-level carrier relationships and negotiation skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a must.
Compensation:
Six-figure base plus significant performance incentives ($400K+ total potential). Competitive benefits. Possible equity participation for the right candidate. A seat at the table with the C-suite, shaping the future of a high-growth insurance enterprise.
